Events
Under the idea of too soon old, too late smart, I have to rely on the
principal that I really can learn new things. I am somewhat ashamed
that new concepts come to me in a slower but reliable time frame. Surely
this must be an aging thing?
After many requests for Do It Yourself
Instructions, I spent many months failing to accurately figure out
how to convert a paper book into a web based navigation. There are
still 'format' errors and still working on why things show up for some but
not for others.... and other snafus.
The new thing? I have embraced the idea of thinking outside the
box.
In the long run it took a weekend at an educational seminar for me to
realize I have the perfect set up and location for on site photo transfer
fabric arts education and seminars. Seminars

Here we go again! Pushing Spring! I am too soon old to be
too late smart so I'm going to follow the gardening rules for SURE this
year. Well, maybe a few tasks can be pushed ahead.... no no no
Connie don't do it!
It looks like this is going to be the year for photo transfer arts and
crafts do it yourself projects! I've listened to all of your
requests and responded to every call for help. Here is what I've
learned:
So with the understanding that I am willing to take on extra work and go
back to the drawing board with the printed book, I'm hoping you will
line up for pre-sales.
The plan is to do a test run with a self publisher. Those who
pre-sign up for the first release will receive the publication at MY
cost plus postage. In return, I would ask for feedback about
everything you read.
The reason I am making this offer and asking your help is because I am
not a wealthy woman. This website doesn't even pay its own way!
I need some pre-publishing funding so that when it is right, I'll be
able to pay for additional printings. Clear as mud? Yeah,
makes sense to me too.

I am forever wondering, "Where does time go?". Ya got me on
that one. I have no clue! Apologies if you keep coming back to
this home page to find out what is happening in my world.
Enough that I forget to remember to update this home page. I work
on the inside and must pay more attention to this page.
Two things dominate my time. First is our 'do it yourself'
section. Do It Yourself There
have been over 5,000 requests for help in photo transfer projects.
I keep busy answering questions and I am delighted to help. Most
readers come back to me with astounding comments like, "This is not as
easy as it looks". Totally correct statement. Photo
transfer to fabric is like any other new learned skill. It takes
time, practice and attention. I have been performing photo to
fabric transfer/sublimation since 1998. I still have troubles.
It is a very quirky and temperamental process and there is nothing quick
and easy about it. This means that I still encourage, coach and
hope that more of you will learn photo to fabric transfer which is at
the bottom line, more fun than a grown up should be allowed to have.
The second thing is photo transfer to fabric. Some find it easier
and in the long run, cheaper to have me make their photo transfers for

One other noteworthy subject for February involves your many requests
for one on one instructions and live seminars. So OK, I'll see

Today makes
one wonder for this day in 2011. That would make it 11-11-11.

Intellectual property is difficult to seek, serve and maintain.
All information is copyrighted but I won't stop anyone from viewing the
information as they wish. I am delighted to report than many
readers have paid, others wish they would have paid but couldn't or
wouldn't. That's ok. My intellectual property has already
been taken and capitalized upon by Chinese sweatshops. If they can
steal it, I suppose I can live with our way that focuses on the honor

Gardening Season is HERE. Sort of. It took a lot of
encouragement, but I've finally gotten around to publishing my little
gardening stories. No doubt about it, I am incompetent to
manage the gardens and landscaping tasks up here on this hilltop out in
the middle of nowhere. It keeps me busy and it is good exercise.
Further than that I cannot claim any expertise, but it is darned funny

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz. I wonder where the birdies is?
Sorry about that, couldn't help myself. Someone once told me the
rest of that 'pome' but for the life of me I can't draw it up in the
brain. Must be spring fever. Can't be age related.
Gotta say, affiliate marketing isn't the way for this webmistress to
earn money on the internet. The google ads definately do better
and a whole lot less work. Going to have to re-evaluate all that.

seemed like a good time to say farewell and be done with it. But
